September 10, 2011 - 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Headhouse Square - 2nd and South Sts. Greenfest Philly Highlights! Take a spin in an electric car - the new Chevy Volt! Hourly surprise “green giveaways” Bring the family! The Kids’ Korner featuring hands-on activities, kids crafts and more! Free Yoga demonstrations Live music, DJs and dancing all day Guest appearances by local celebrities Local and organic food vendors Exclusive VIP tent for Clean Air Council members 100’s of exhibitors and much more! Get Involved in Greenfest Philly! Volunteers Greenfest Philly needs you! Enjoy Philadelphia's largest green festival and give back at the same time. Greenfest Philly needs volunteers on Saturday, Sept. 10th from 8am to 6pm. Volunteer duties include helping vendors set-up and break-down, overseeing the waste and recycling stations, working "Kiddie Korner", selling t-shirts, and staffing the information booth.
