[BLISS WARRIOR] BRUNCH STORY 1 - A STRANGE PLACE TO MEET A GIRL

"I have a story about the Abbey." The Abbey is a GLBT, straight-friendly bar and restaurant in West Hollywood.
"Tell us!"
"Do share!"
Twelve girls have come together on a chilly December morning in Los Angeles to brunch. Brilliant, beautiful, and bright, these girls are bi or bi-friendly and are thrilled to be sharing the stories they cannot usually share in mixed company.
"Well, across the street from the Abbey, there's an open-all-night STD testing van."
"Do people get checked for STDs at 3 in the morning," I ask.
She laughs and says, "I guess so." Wearing a knit cap, our narrator has bright, clear eyes that shine as she speaks. "Anyway, I went in there one night to get checked out, and a really cute girl was working there. She asked me about my sexual history, you know, like you always have to do when you go the GYN. Well, she asked me about EVERYTHING and I told her everything I had done, so she knew all about me."
"I'm sure you intrigued her," says one girl and the girls laugh together.
"After the tests were complete and we both knew I had no diseases, she asked me if I wanted to get a drink at the Abbey. And I said, 'Right now?' And she said, 'Yeah, I'll close the van.'"
"She can just do that," I ask. "Just lock up the van and take off whenever she meets a hot chick?" We laugh again.
"I guess so." Her red hair glimmers in the shifting sunlight. "So she locks up the van, we cross the street, she buys me a drink, and we end up in the bathroom making out! That's my Abbey story!"
One girl smiles and says, "Now I know where to go at 2 in the morning on a Friday night. Time to get tested!"
