Getting my links into a new computer

I just got a new computer and I want to bring all my favorites from my
old computer (which are all on blinklist) and have them as my
favorites in my new computer. I have tried to back them up in my
browser but then all of them come up in a big long list. I also tried
to import them but you can only import html files and you can only
save them as firefox documents. I am running firefox 3 by the way.
