Update and link to mini devotional Moroni 7-9

Good morning,
On Friday, we put up our Christmas tree and the Christmas decorations on the inside of our home. Christmas is such a special time of year and a reminder to all of us of the ultimate gift of our Savior and his atonement.
This week, as I studied the scriptures, the phrase that stood out to me is ”except he shall do it with real intent it profiteth him nothing.” I reflected on the power of this principle and the difference our motives truly make. Here is a link to a video of some of the key ideas that stood out to me. Please share with me any of your ideas of what helps you have higher motives to serve others. This goes along with the Come Follow Me section Moroni 7-9.

With the sacrament on my mind this week, I #givethanks for the blessing and strength that come from our Savior through the ordinance of the sacrament. For the most part we do not have recited prayers in the church, but a few are. The sacramental prayers are some of them. The focus for me this week was what can I learn from the sacramental prayers needing to be repeated exactly? This goes along with the Come Follow Me section Moroni 1-6. What are some additional ideas that come to your mind on the topic?
