Hi,

Several people have commented that the CSV download did not contain
enough fields for their use. I have therefore changed the generation
script so that it now includes the same fields as available through
the JSON service (http://biocol.org/json).

I have also added an initial row in the file that contains the column
names because there are a significant number of them now.

Please let me know if this breaks anything that you are using at the
moment or if you need anything different.

All the best,

Roger

Hi,
To facilitate audits of regional collections (for example, where
location_country_name = 'Australia' or location_country_iso = 'AU'), a
CSV which lists relationships between collections would be very
useful. (Most recent) records of collection_fk, parent_fk couplets
would save much manual navigation of the web site, and serve as a
valuable complement to the lookup_lsid.csv file currently offered.
Thanks,
Lynette.

Thanks Lynette,

I should have read this before I wrote the last bit on my previous
post. I'll add a feature request to build a relationships download
CSV. I don't think that it is possible to do what I suggested in my
other mail without such an download.

All the best,

Roger
