Any plans to cascade changes to a collection name to child records?

Hi
Having just editted a record for a collection, I was wondering if the
changes I made to the collection name would be reflected in the
community record for any child collections?

Are there plans to cascade such changes?

Hi Aaron,

The child collections of the Allan Herbarium were auto generated as
part of the seeding process hence their names were generated on the
basis of the overlong name for the parent collection that you just
corrected. There is no automatic way for these names to trickle down
as the child names may have changed since they were created.

In this particular case, however, I ran a SQL query to update the
child collections so they now reflect the new name for the Allan
Herbarium.

Generally if there are bulk things to do I can do them using a SQL
query. If I have to keep doing them then we can look into automating
the task.
