Yes, those compost piles have to keep doing their thing till they can
be finally ground up into soil. That's right son, your banana peel
(that you bought with the banana and cost 98 cents a pound) could very
well be helping a cucumber grow.

On that note, a few things to take advantage of until semester's end!

1. Personal Orders. Want or need to order anything before semester's
end? For Albert's and United Orders, PLEASE PUT ONE IN BY THIS FRIDAY,
DECEMBER 2ND, 2011 by 12 PM. PLEASE PICK IT UP DURING THE WEEK OF
DECEMBER 5TH-9TH AND PAY US FOR THEM IMMEDIATELY! No more regional
access orders until next semester.

2. Letters of Intent! We are looking for new coordinators and core
members next semester. Coordinators are in charge of 3 shifts for an
hour each, whereas core members are in charge of 2.
If you are interested, you MUST have volunteered for us consistently
AT LEAST this past semester. We are looking for longevity, so if your
going to be in Binghamton for AT LEAST another 2 semesters that would
be great!

PLEASE SEND IN YOUR LETTER OF INTENT WITH WHY WE SHOULD BRING YOU ON
BOARD BY NEXT WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7TH, 2011 BY 5:30 PM TO THE FOOD
COOP! THANKS!

3. Gabriella Gallus, President of Share Your Vision, set up a box for
eyeglasses in the Coop. Here's more info. on the cause! PLEASE BRING
YOUR GLASSES TO THE DROP OFF BOX IN THE COOP BEFORE SEMESTER'S END!
In North America we throw out +4 million pairs of eyeglasses annually,
though 1 billion people in developing countries need eyeglasses but
cannot afford them. Share Your Vision has organized a campus-wide
eyeglass collection. If you have unused eyeglasses or sunglasses you
can donate to Haiti please drop them off at the Coop. Email Gabriella
at ggal...@binghamton.edu if you have any questions!
