1 Good Food Jobs Fair, February 24th 5:30-7 pm at Food and Finance
High School 525 West 50th street NYC
a. From Good Food Jobs website (goodfoodjobs.com)- a way to find jobs
and meet those looking for meaningful food work with 40 different food
oriented businesses.
b. $15 admission for job seekers
c. A way to meet leaders in the sustainable food movement, ask about
hiring and recruiting practices, gain information on how to get
involved as a volunteer, and learn new initiatives organizations are
involved in to propel the food movement
2. The Good Food Jobs fair will run in conjunction with the Just Food
Conference 2012
a. Join Just Food, local food lovers and advocates, CSA members,
community gardeners, urban and rural farmers, food professionals and
entrepreneurs
b. 2 days of hands-on workshops, skills-building sessions, good food.
Learn about cooking and food preservation, CSA trends, the movement in
NYC and beyond

3. CoFed Retreat in NYC March 16-18
a. Focuses on "Education, Training and Information" and "Cooperation
amongst cooperatives" to 1) develop concrete ideas for improving the
state of your co-op's internal and external organization and 2) feel
strongly a part of a northeastern student and community cooperative
network
b.Hopes in having 2 speakers, 1 field trip, several workshops and a
funkraiser (a party that raises $$).
