Dearest friends of the Food Co-op,
I would like to alert you to an initiative being put on by Hillel called the Food Stamp Challenge. It is, in a nutshell, a challenge to try and live on the average food stamp benefit of $31.50 for 1 week. This is meant to be a part of Hillel’s larger Reverse Hunger Initiative and should bring awareness to the austere realities that 1-in-7 Americans face each day.

There are guidelines and instructions for both on- and off-campus students.
