We’re just one day away from the 99th Tour de Fat of all time right here in lovely Fort Collins! We are at  this time looking for one hearty soul to step up and trade their car for a bike at tomorrow’s show. This person will be brought on stage and hailed as a true champion for two-wheeled goodness. They will also forfeit their car and receive a plush Black Sheep commuter bike.

Hello everyone -

This is a big shout-out of thanks to all of my super volunteers who helped make the 10th annual Tour de Fat a raging success.  Through their hard work, friendly smiles, and gentle persuasion, they collected 25% more funds than last year.  This is much needed capital and will help us continue our mission to make Fort Collins a safer and more enjoyable place to ride a bike.

One of the perks for volunteering with us yesterday was the chance to win a gently used Schwinn Panther cruiser bicycle.  This bike was part of the FreeWheelin bike loan program at the Democratic National Convention held in Denver last year.

Attached is a photo of Virginia MacKinnon being presented the bicycle today.  Congratulations, Virginia!  Thank you so very much for your help!
