Storm Ali claimed two victims
today and left hundreds of thousands of people without power
while battering the British Isles with gusts of up to 102mph.
A tourist in her 50s died after her
caravan was blown off a cliff as she slept in Claddaghduff,
County Galway, in western Ireland this morning - while Britons
were issued with 'danger to life' warnings posed by flying
debris.
