MEXICO CITY -- Tropical Storm Kiko formed Tuesday off the southern tip
of Mexico's Baja California peninsula, the National Hurricane Center said.
The storm was stalled far out to sea, and was not expected to strengthen
or even move much in the coming days, forecasters said. It had sustained
winds of 40 mph and was not expected to threaten land.
