Tropical Storm Boris forms in Pacific*

MEXICO CITY -- Tropical Storm Boris has formed off Mexico's Pacific
coast, but is not threatening land.
Miami's National Hurricane Center said the storm had maximum sustained
winds of 50 mph (85 kph) on Friday and was located hundreds of miles off
Mexico's Pacific coast.
Forecasters say the storm was moving west out to sea at 9 mph (15 kph).
