I hope I have a copy of it. I asked if you'd be interested in sharing
your projects at the http://beadarchives.com site. I'm working on that
site, and the purpose of it is somewhat different from the other bead
pattern sites.
The idea is really FREE & SHARED patterns and instructions. The site
is store sponsored, and the servers are part of other businesses, so
they will probably be online forever.
Any projects you add, will be linked and archived, and you can link
back to your site, and get additional exposure.
The benefit is that if your site disappears, or you move on, or
something else happens, a user can still find the project and
instructions that would have been referenced in older posts, or by
others.
IF the projects are "always there", others will be able to build on
that work, reference it in their own work, and ADD TO the overall base
of knowledge available to everyone, rather than having to do it all
over.
I really caught on with that, and love the idea, so I'm going to be
helping out there, and with the http://beadiecritters.com site as well
-- the largest FREE reference site for pony bead patterns (but you can
use any beads) on the net. Started by margo, the site's been supported
by the local bead shop. It's pretty great, but needs some volunteers
to help put all the patterns into a database so they can be searched
more easily.
Just need some help.
I visited your sites but not a webmaster myself I don't know how to add
my content there. Do I submit links?
I would be willling for you to draw the photos with links back to my
site but not the written content as I would like to keep the written
content on my own site.
Cheers!
