This is a follow up E.mail that was sent to me by Giovanni from the
AlamedaHam operators.

I think that we should use these questions as a template to get
reportbacks from events where collaborative ties are working to be built
and establushed.

How did you get informed about the need to go?

My associate Timon informed me of a meeting for the Alameda ham
operators and that may be able to help us submit an application for a
low level radio liscence for SUDOroom.

Matt Senate was the point person who was intended to attend however he
had prior obligations. I was informed that we needed to determine what
the process for an application

When did you arrive?
What was going on?
Who did you meet?
Did you make an announcement to the group?
Did you get any advice?
Did you get any free stuff? From whom? What?

Have you invited anyone to come to Sudoroom? When?

Bus 51 and walked from Alameda College. 15 minutes

A presentation/ report on radio antenna tranmitter networks.

I'm sorry however I have short term memory problems, I remember faces
yet am not so good with names.

I met a gentleman who was giving mr information about where online I
could go to establish a radio station.

He also informed me about Alameda Radio attending your meeting
previously.



DID YOU MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE GROUP?

Yes I announced that my group was wondering about the process of
registering for a radio liscence in the EastBay. I was informed that the
first step would be to get a Federal Registration #, I imagine through
the FCC.


DID YOU GET ANY ADVICE?

yes.

DID YOU GET FREE STUFF?FROM WHOM? WHAT?

An old bullet mic with a stand, a handheld bakelite pre.plastic circular
mic with toggle switch, some time of hanheld radio of somekind, I
believe we identified what kind however I forget the name.

HAVE YOU INVITED ANYONE FROM SUDOROOM? WHEN?

I've invited Matt and Jenny so far.
I will be sending this E.mail to the list for the radioroom which had a
recording session today for a podcast.


WHAT FOLLOW UP WILL BE DONE WITH ANYONE FROM ARCAham?

I'm hoping you can help to facilitate. We have a deadline fast
approaching and will have to work diligently to pull this off.

The radio group has regular meetings (link here)

and I will request that you attend so we can give you the full layout of
available resources, potential resouces ( if we work creatively) within
our reach as well as any obstacles we can foresee.

My phone is back on and I would appreciate a call once you have finished

E.mail is best to inform others.

PUBLIC PRESENTATION?

it may be appropriate at the radio meeting. I would like to get a
logistical sense of what is required to follow up with establishing a
station at Sudorokm or nearby at that meeting. I know the team working
on it will have many of these covered already.
