1) IRC channel - #berkeleytip on freenode.irc.net - That is the place to start. If noone is there yet, wait & someone should be there shortly. I try to be there at or before the meeting, but sometimes I run late.
2) Probably you meant the VOIP, not vid conf. We have talk videos I find each month - the latest talks from LUGs, or other free sw hw or clulture groups. Those are listed on the talks page, & people can dl them befroe the meeting, watch them, & discuss them at the meeting.
We don't have video conference capability yet, & haven't tried to yet.
We do have global VOIP, & have had attendees from europe, mideast & USA.
