I've been dealing with it with that for the last 10 years on my 2006 O 373.  Would love to hear any and all suggestions for actually getting my refrigerator to cool

I swapped to an external thermostat with temp probe to control fridge.  The knob thermostats inside the fridge don’t really work  well.  Since I swapped been perfect ever since, plus can keep eye on temp from outside without opening.

I’ll bet your fridge is cool, not cold.  Try putting a thermometer in it.

I installed a little 3" muffin fan inside the refrigerator to circulate the cold air and that helped immensely.  If your temperature inside the boat is over 80 degrees or so you will need to crank up the thermostat so the compressor runs more, but it will keep things cooler - just uses more amps!

Fan sure helps. But like you mentioned, it causes more amp. So it may be a good idea to check the instant current to prevent the motor burned out. Also the cooling gaz pressure is important.

Thanks for all your input. It shouldn't be this complicated

Something like the STC-1000 ?

I bought one last summer when I was thinking of tackling this project but then it got in the list of projects and hasn't been completed. (The STC-100 required a power connection as well as the relay connection and I overthought where I was going to tap into the 12v lines to power it, or how I was going to snake lines from where the compressor sits to the fridge itself.)

If you are proud of your installation, I'd love to see pictures.

I have a couple of Bluetooth thermometers that I keep in my fridge and freezer so I have data on the compartment temperature. I was gone for the past few weeks so i had things sitting open. Monday I returned, closed the doors and turned the fridge on.These graphs have the most recent time on the left, going back in time to the right. You can see my icebox dropped down to 30° over the first night, and has stayed in the 28.7°-31.4° range over the last day, but the refrigerator has been in the 42.2°-53.7° range over the last day. The refrigerator thermometer is hanging from the underside of the wire basket in free air, the freezer thermometer is hanging from the divider between the upper/outer section of the icebox and the inner/deeper section.
