In a recent storm, my B331 rubbed a piling with the rear port quarter, just a beam of the lazarette. A fake/faux port light is installed there. It was this faux port light that took the brunt of the rub, so it needs to be replaced.

However, I have not been able to find a part number or its actual name. My spelunking through the Internet and Lewmar's site has turned up nothing.

I have reached out to Clark's Landing for guidance, but someone here might have some guidance in the meantime.

Regards,

I was looking at a diagram. Is this your boat? beneteau_331_drawing.jpg

Is there a port light in the starboard side into the aft berth, but a fake port light on the port side where the lazarette drops down?

Planning to have a look at mine this week. It is on the port side.  Any how-to's on the best process for disassemble, clean and reseal is appreciated.  Will stay tuned to this thread for leads on sourcing replacement parts. Not feeling too confident in getting it apart without breaking something.

Thank you.

Is it leaking. If not I wouldn’t touch it. Just be sure to keep the painted border coated. It protects the sealant from the UV

Removing it and rebeding  can be a nightmare

duh me

I read it as port light as in a light on the port side of the boat, which is why I was confused as to why it is an aft light

Moving on ....
