I just replaced my inverter and solar controller with a victron. One of the channels of the inverter/charger was blown causing the batteries to drain quickly and caused one bank to melt when I was charging the batteries with the engine and alternator. Perhaps have an electrician double check the inverter/charger. My system was over 20 years old so it was due for an upgrade. The new display takes a lot of the guesswork out of managing your battery life.

Good luck in figuring it out.

Have you installed a good battery monitor? I find it immensely helpful in troubleshooting electrical. I have installed the vitron 702 in two of my boats, love it. The app allows you to see both input and output, so if you isolate the charging systems you can find faults.

At night with the charger off, if you start the motor you should see the input amps from the alternator. With the engine off, turn on the charger and you should see the amps coming in from the charger. Then turn off the battery charger and in the morning as the sun comes up, you should see the solar input.

You can test each system individually, but it takes way more time. The app also logs a history, and you can literally see the power draw from things like the cycling of the refridgerator. With this, you gain an understanding of the average power consumption of the boat, and can recognize when something fails pretty quickly.

Edit to my post, I installed the vitron 712, not the 702. 702 does not have Bluetooth built in.

That's a great call out. I did install a citron monitor but haven't really taken advantage of the data available.

My 2006 473 has a Refrigerator compressor that is also is very sensitive to voltage drops. Last season I installed a Victron DC-DC converter under the galley sink next to the compressor which maintains a constant 12v output even if the input voltage dips. That solved the compressor faults. This season I converted the AGM House bank to Lithium with new Victron Controllers and Multiples charger/inverter. I probably don't need the DC-DC Converter to protect the compressor anymore but just haven't gotten around to removing it.
