Hello folks!  We're kind of excited and nervous to be returning home for a couple of weeks.  Well, Rob's excited, I'm nervous.  I've always kind of been nervous about returning home after trips for some reason.  Kind of like dying then coming back to see that it's all still there.  If that makes any sense.  I think Rob thinks this is weird.  So -- I release you from this rambling, and announce a couple of things we're doing while home:

4/17:  BB with Pink Flag, the Ex-Monkeys, and Tender Fruit.  Awesome!!   AND....Mecca Normal will be stopping by (around 5:30 I think) to present their event "How Art and Music Can Change the World."  It's free...some check it out.  Here is the event site:  http://www.myspace.com/dukecampusconcerts  and Mecca's panel site:  http://howartandmusiccanchangetheworld.blogspot.com/

4/18:  The 3rd annual Duo-Fest!   Here is the press release you might have seen -- and feel free to join up on the Facebook site here:  http://www.facebook.com/home.php?035;/event.php?eid=62421127970#/event.php?eid=62421127970&ref=ts

There are a ton of cool things happening in Durham on 4/18, so be sure to see everything, if that is possible?  Presenting, Duo-Fest III:

Duofest III preview:

This time...sets from Raleigh textural coelacanth Phon ... and an appearance by Mecca Normal, the rhythm-section-less Canadian duo that’s been dropping records on K, Kill Rock Stars and Matador since the first half of the ’80s. 'Arguably the greatest rock band without a rhythm section ever,' critic Douglas Wolk once said of Mecca Normal. Awesome, say we.” --Grayson Currin, Muisc Editor, Independent Weekly.
