Hey homebrewers -

Anyone interested in tasting some nasty off-flavors for the sake of education? I'm going to host an off-flavor workshop on Wednesday November 13th @ 7pm in Viking Union 460 (on Western's campus), and it's open to anyone, with preference given to people who've not done it before. We'll spike some light lager with acetaldehyde, diacetyl, DMS, and a variety of other questionable beer characteristics, and talk about what causes them and how to control them. (I'll bring a couple of non-nasty beers for us to drink together too.) If you're in, let me know. Cost is $10, and I've got room for about 10 people.

Thanks,
Neal

Hi Neal -

I'm interested. I'm willing to be an alternate if there is a lot of interest. I've done the training before, but it was many years ago.
