to Bell quantum foundations

Friends, I don’t have time to manage the group and I can’t read all the messages, but I’m going to post here the rules suggested by Fred for your opinion. I kindly ask that the language used in the group be appropriate; otherwise, unfortunately, we will have to close the group:

1. Impolite behavior is NOT to be tolerated

2. No foul language including in name handle

3. No off-topic posts

4. No flaming

5. No derogatory personal comments about anyone; stick to the physics

6. No spamming the group which includes advertisements of any kind and also includes overly repetitious posts

7. You must post in English; you can use Google's translator to translate from your language to English then post to the board

8. No links to websites that have pirated material or that are infected with malicious code or contain pornography

9. No posts about new theories that are clearly contrary to experimental evidence

10. And... the most important rule; Have Fun!

That is the short list of basic rules.  I will post the long list later.

As for Google's basic rules for groups, you can always click on the Report button.  Too bad there isn't a Google rule for those that post nonsense.  Add that to the list above.  LOL!

Bell was wrong big time.

Well Alexandre, you were wrong.  This group is moderated as Gill deleted my reply to him.  Which is silly because the posts in the group get sent out in email.  So, not actually deleted.

Fred, although I sympathize with some of your positions regarding Bell, I don’t think it’s appropriate to include very heated messages here. So, following your own suggested rules, I’m moderating some comments as I’m able to read them.

Oh, so it was you that deleted the reply to Gill.  No problem but as I said the posts get sent out in email so not really deleted.  If you are going to moderate the group, you should give a warning (via email) first before deleting posts.

As far as I am concerned, you haven't implemented the rules yet until you stick them at the top of the conversation list with the title Group Rules.

And thanks for your sympathy for my Bell positions.  If you actually study it hard, you have to agree that the inequalities are broken physics.  There is just no way around that event timing problem.  And it is why it is fairly easy for classical mechanics to violate the inequalities and give the same predictions as quantum mechanics.

I deleted nothing. I’m not a moderator of this group. I stepped down from that job long ago.
