I'm wondering what are some of your favorite "Forest" pieces. A "Forest" is a multiple bell tree/multiple ringer performance.

At Into the Forest 2025 the concert included 3 types of forests:

The Journey, Frier - as the processional with multiple processing trees
Griffins Hornpipe, Wissinger - multiple ringers playing various verses. It was a forest of solos on 3 trees.
Kum Ba Yah, Brocker - performed by the beginning BT class. Approximately 12 ringers were playing the same piece on 12 trees.

I am also open to learning about potential forest pieces.

Thanks
KVW

Have selections been made for the 2025 Into the Forest event?  I will be purchasing music soon-ish, and would like to include as many pieces as possible in one order.

No Ann - We are looking at sessions and facilitators this month. We will focus more on the concert next month.

What do you think of Processional Joy, arr. Barbara Brocker
???
I couldn't find much for processionals for Bell Tree!

For easy, quickly learned 6-8 Bell pieces for group ringing concert pieces, I've been playing from "Easy Pop Melodies for Flute" Hal Leonard.
i.e. Ode to Joy
Edelweiss
Morning Has Broken
My Favorite Things
What a Wonderful World

For pieces with no accidentals:
God is so Good
Holy, Holy, Holy
Amazing Grace
are all from Barbara Brocker 's book "A Bell Tree Keyboard Manual"

Hope this helps!
Thanks, Brenda

Brenda

FYI, there is a list of processionals in the BT Resources folders Music>Resource Lists.

I'm not familiar with the Easy Pop Melodies for Flute (Hal Leonard). I will check this out. It is great to be able to adapt other music to BT.

In addition to the pieces you mentioned that have no accidentals. You will find a longer list also in the repository. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/130wnbJExlA7KiAO27xwC3iVB6ZW5I3xV

Ring on!
