it's an important month because of the Toys for Tots Hafla! So, here's
your monthly update with the Beledi Club happenings...
EVENT: The BIG EVENT!!! The 3rd Annual Toys For Tots Hafla will be
this Saturday night, November 18 at the Trinity United Methodist Church
- Wesley Hall - 607 Airport Road. There will be a silent auction,
refreshments, and a show. All the proceeds generated from the silent
auction will go toward the Marine's Toys for Tots program. Cost: $12
for adults, $7 for kids 6 - 12. You get a $2 discount with toy

CLASSES: Polly (aka Belilah - www.belilahonline.com) has changed her
classes from Tuesday to Thursday nights. It's still a basic bellydance
class in Pulaski, TN. She will be teaching at JM Degas - 930 North 1st
Street - Pulaski, TN (931) 363-2188.
Sallye is still teaching Basic Belly Dance Technique on Tuesday
mornings from 10:15 to 11:15 at The Studio 1219 C Jordan Lane ($25 a
month or $8 per class). She is starting back on zil drills at the
Dublin Park class on Tuesdays from 7:15 to 8:45 ($35 per month or $10
per class). Liz is still teaching an ongoing BellyDance Technique
class at the Studio On Thursday Evenings from 6pm to 7:15pm. At Dublin
Park on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm. $25 per month or $8 per class. The
class at The Studio will be geared for dancers with some experience in
bellydancing and will start to focus on strengthening the core muscles
as well as polishing up technique and combos. The class at Dublin Park
will be at a slower pace, open to anyone at whatever experience level
they are at. Liz will start teaching class series on Thursday nights
at The Studio starting in January. Stay tuned for more details.
Lisa's class is on Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm for basic technique (she
will gear the class to the level of the students and it is basic and
beginning at this point) and 7 to 7:30 Belly Fusion students will learn
to connect and dance with a partner in class. It is required to take
technique class to participate in partner class. $25 a month or $8

There is also a drum jam practice session on Wednesday nights after the
7:30 class. People interested in learning to drum with Middle Eastern
rhythyms are invited.
WORKSHOPS:
At THE STUDIO: KASSAR - an incredible belly dancing duet from New
Jersey -
will be teaching a 2 day workshop on November 18th and 19th (the same
weekend as The Toys for Tots Benefit and performance)! They will be
teaching 3 hours each day of Partnering Choreography with tango fusion
on Saturday and Partnering with Floor work on Sunday!!!! They do great
yoga warm-ups!!! They are definitely Tribalfusion with a classical
ballet and yoga foundation. They will be performing at the benefit!!!

2nd with LISSA MCFADDIN!!!! She returns to teach us all how to be
Drama Queens!! That's the choreography. Cost: $25 for club members, $30
for non-members. A bargain for such a tremendous teacher!

Also, if you happened to get the Huntsville Times - they had the Toys
for Tots Hafla listed as being at the Studio. It is NOT at the Studio.
The correct place is Trinity United Methodist Church - Wesley Hall at
607 Airport Road. A correction should be made within the paper.
Either way, we'll have another notice at The Studio with the correction
should anyone show up there.
