your monthly update with the Beledi Club happenings...
Classes: Polly (aka Belilah - www.belilahonline.com) is starting a new
basic bellydance class in Pulaski, TN on Tuesday nights! The first
class is October 17 and will be from 7 - 8 pm. She will be teaching at
JM Degas - 930 North 1st Street - Pulaski, TN (931) 363-2188. I don't
have the pricing on her classes yet, so contact JM Degas for more
information.
Sallye is still teaching Basic Belly Dance Technique on Tuesday
mornings from 10:15 to 11:15 at The Studio 1219 C Jordan Lane ($25 a
month or $8 per class). She is also teaching her Bellydance Sword class
at Dublin Park on Tuesdays from 7:15 to 8:45 ($35 per month or $10 per
class). Liz is also teaching a Basic Belly dance Technique at the
Studio On Thursday Evenings from 6pm to 7pm. At Dublin Park on Tuesdays
from 6pm to 7pm. $25 per month or $8 per class
Lisa's class is on Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm for basic technique (she
will gear the class to the level of the students and it is basic and
beginning at this point) and 7 to 7:30 Belly Fusion students will learn
to connect and dance with a partner in class. It is required to take
technique class to participate in partner class. $25 a month or $8

NEW: For you drummers out there - Come out to The Studio on Wednesday
nights at 7:30 pm to practice/learn/and play Middle Eastern rhythms
with other drummers and dancers.
WORKSHOPS:
MESMERA workshop - October 7-8 in Florence AL. Come out and spend 1 or
2 glorious days learning from this accomplished dancer. She will be
the featured guest artist at the Saturday night show! Check out

At THE STUDIO: Nichole Hanna of Gypsyville and Panty Raid in Nashville
will teach a workshop on Oct 21st the day of our Haflaween. It will be
2 hours of Bellydancing (Connecting with your Dance Partner) Her style
is Tribalfusion but based in excellent bellydance technique and 1 hour
of the finer points of BURLESQUE!! Early Bird special $30 for 3 hours
before Oct 15th. Paypal available!
Save the Dates - Upcoming Workshops:
November: KASSAR - an incredible belly dancing duet from New Jersey -
will be teaching a 2 day workshop on November 18th and 19th (the same
weekend as The Toys for Tots Benefit and performance)! They will be
teaching 3 hours each day of Partnering Choreography with tango fusion
on Saturday and Partnering with Floor work on Sunday!!!! They do great
yoga warm-ups!!! They are definitely Tribalfusion with a classical
ballet and yoga foundation. They will be performing at the benefit!!!

December: BELEDI CLUB CHRISTMAS Workshop and Hafla Saturday DECEMBER
2nd with LISSA MCFADDIN!!!! She returns to teach us all how to be
Drama Queens!! That's the choreography. More info to come!!!!!

Oct 7: Sallye, Liz and their students will be performing at the Madison
Street Festival - downtown Madison around 10:00 am.
Oct 7: Sallye and Liz will be performing at the Mesmera workshop show.
Oct 20: Beledi Club Private performance in Fayettville, TN
Oct 21: 7pm HAFLAWEEN! Dancing, Fun, Goodies, Games and of course;
costume contests!!!!
