Dear friends,

Hello. Olympia Ecovillage, A Welcome to All We Invite You Ecovillage,
and The Fifth Annual International A World Beyond Capitalism
Conference is gearing up for another exciting tour of a radical
intentional community! This is our fifth year of the conference but
this is our second year of taking a group up to EGFS and each year it
is one of the greatest highlights of our conference and we know it
will be more exciting than ever this year! We greatly thank the many
groups who have sponsored us for this sponsorship to make this
happen! We never take sponsorships for granted whether that is
promotional ad sponsorships, gift certificates or anything else.
Everything helps! To learn about sponsoring or donating to this
conference please visit http://www.aworldbeyondcapitalism.org

On Friday, July 23, 2010, from 7pm-8:30pm, we will tour the Emma
Goldman Finishing School (EGFS) a legendary intentional community in
Seattle. We will meet at 3:30pm in downtown Olympia and take the bus
together to Seattle. Contact us for exact details. Most of us will
travel by bus but people with cars are welcome to meet us and get
driving directions if they desire.

One of the best ways to envision such a daunting challenge of
creating homes and intentional communities in a method that welcomes
people from all backgrounds and without full time jobs is by actually
going to visit an intentional community that is actually doing this.

Here is a description of EGFS by employees of Yes Magazine:

"On a budget of $100,000 Emma's provides a 12-person community with
food, housing, heat, utilities, internet and phone access, health
coverage, transportation, even a pension. Each adult contributes a
“quota” of approximately 110 hours a month in income hours or labor
hours. To start with, that eliminates the need for a full-time job.
For us, it meant that Kibby's time cooking dinner, food shopping,
doing home maintenance, gardening, or caring for our child had the
same value as Adam's salaried hours at YES!"

-Adam & Kibby MacKinnon for Yes Magazine

No one is turned away for lack of funds at the A World Beyond
Capitalism Conference. Our website is here: http://www.aworldbeyondcapitalism.org

The Annual A World Beyond Capitalism Conference is in our fifth year
and is our desire to create an intentional community and school that
welcomes people from all backgrounds.

Thanks for your consideration.

Keep up the great work everyone!

WoOOooooo WeeeEEeeeee! :)

Love for the people,

-T
