A message from Mazur:
Dear Ultimate Enthusiasts,
I have exciting news for you. Have you ever wanted to do something charitable while playing the sport you love? Here is the solution: the 2010 Charity Hat Tournament to Fight Cancer. If you’ve been in touch with Tyler Noyes or myself for the last 4 months, you may have heard us talking about our current training regimen. We swim, bike, and run for distance with the goal of doing all three in the same morning back to back to back. YES: a triathlon! More importantly, we are training to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and are planning the Hat Tournament as a fundraiser for our cause.

We are working with Team in Training, which is an organization that provides coaches, mentors, and resources for athletes to both succeed in personal competition goals but also to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As soon as we decided to raise money for cancer research, our goal went from a simple pipe dream to something with meaningful purpose. You can follow all of our training progress, funny stories, failures, and successes on our blog.
If you would like to learn more about the cause or the foundation, check out their website here.
Lastly, whether or not you can make the hat tournament, we are also throwing a huge fundraising party the night before. So come out for drink
specials, games, trivia, and prizes!
Saturday, April 10th
Aces and Eights (Ave A btwn 2nd and 3rd)
Open Bar 6pm-7pm and Drink Specials after 7

Please forward this email to everyone you know that might be interested in either event. We hope all this information finds you well and that you are ready to tune up for your individual ultimate seasons and help a great cause at the same time!
Sincerely,
Chris Mazur & Tyler Noyes
