Thanksgiving HAT TOURNEY

Hey all,
As many of you already know, I coach the Stuyvesant HS boys ultimate team. We all know there is a quota of at least 1 Asian handler per team and I’m just trying to supply the community with that demand. However, instead of profiting from this, I usually ended up losing money since the boys are poor and receive ZERO funding from the school. Their Asian parents don’t give much and would rather yell at them to study harder than support this terrible Frisbee habit.
Please spread the word to your friends and teammates and come join us as we host the 2nd Thanksgiving Hat Tourney on Randalls Island. This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. Last year over 80 people registered but the cold and rain scared most of them away. This year I promise it will be warm and sunny (I sacrificed a 60lbs goat to the weather gods).
Entry fee is $20.00 per person and includes a full day of Ultimate, fruit, water, bagels, leftover stuffing and a legitimate reason to get off your ass to exercise. I will accommodate baggage if you ask to play with someone.

Date: November 29th (Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend)
Time: 9:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Randall’s Island (newly renovated fields)
Format: Coed -- 4 rounds of games -- 11th edition rules

November 21st Hat Tourney:
NYC is quickly becoming tournament central for Ultimate. After the
successes of the Holmes Levitational and an 18 team Gates-Of-Hell,
most of you are familiar with the excellent central fields at
Randall's Island. Next Saturday we will be hosting a one day hat
tourney with the sole purpose of making some new friends by playing
with random people. I will do my best to honor baggage requests, just
leave any requests in the comments section of registration. Cost is
$15 per player. This will cover insurance and field costs and if
enough people sign up, we will bring in food as well. ALL SKILL LEVELS
ARE WELCOME. Please forward this email to your teams and pickup
groups.

November 21 and November 29 are different days, these are different tournaments, stop raining on Devo's parade.
