Amazon EC2 Beginners Workshop @ Caltech (SGVLUG)

This coming Thursday at 7pm I will be leading an Amazon EC2 beginners
workshop at Caltech in Pasadena (San Gabriel Valley Linux Users Group).

I plan to repeat this at BarCampLA-6, though it's going to be highly
accelerated to fit it into a single BarCamp session.

This workshop will provide a brief overview/intro to EC2 followed by a
step-by-step walkthrough to creating an Amazon EC2 account and starting
your first EC2 instance (server) running Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, or CentOS.

Bring a laptop and a credit card with the ability to charge up to $0.25
in EC2 service fees.
