here in San Diego we felt it, but very light... how was it in LA?

It was my first quake and I was. On the 13th floor of a santa monica highrise. The building shook and swayed...I'm a bit creeped out still.

Culver City here, whole building swayed for about a minute or so.

felt it good in Ojai.

everyone's ok, but our wordpress blog fell over, causing an auto
upgrade and now it's broke ;)

Anyone else noticed the squeeking sounds their building made as it was swaying? eeek.
10th floor here, on sunset blvd. Was def. quite strong

Im on the ground floor of a REALLY old building on sunset near gardner,
there were some creaky squeaky splitty sounds that were a bit scary.

Yeah, on the 7th floor here in Pasadena. Building shook for about 20
seconds initially, then kept swaying for about a minute. No creepy
creaks, though.

People outside said it felt like a single jolt.

Reporting from UCLA. Our building is on the 4th floor and we still
felt the building sway. Reports from friends from 6th story building
said they were swaying for a long period.

My first quake :). I know this is horrible to say, but it was
AWESOME! :D

it WAS awesome! my boyfriend was jumping around the house playing with the dog when it hit. he landed really hard on the dining room floor then everything started shaking. it took us a few seconds to realize what was going on. hilarious!
