I like the article by Mr A V Bagur. The Govt (including RBI) is not
serious at all in arresting the main reason of NPAs. Not a single
customer of a bank has stolen money from banks. The loss of bank on
account of NPA is directly related to connivance of the corrupt
employees/officials and officers of the banks. The mechanism needed is
stern accountability of the bank employees/officials and officers.
The Courts too contribute a lot to this growing menace.
One can see favouritism to the counsels appearing for bank. The same
counsel, in the very next matter, if appearing for the borrower will
get the boot from the same judge.

The attitude of judges is wholly biased and partisan when it comes to
recovery in favour of the banks. But try to execute an order of
recovery against the bank. You will be shocked. Bank employees are
allowed to make false statement and file false statements with no fear
of punishment.
This unlawful protection available to banks has to be taken away. Only
the, can we see some positive effort in reduction of NPA amounts.

I totally agree with Mr. Mohan Shandilya... Bank takes everything as
granted and does not bother about anything else... I am also a victim
of fraud conducted by corrupt bank officials/employees. But the bank
was ICICI.

In DRT every day, bank lawyer change his statement... once he says, it
was auction, other day he would say it was inviting private tenders..
etc.. On the otherhand in Tis Hazari court ICICI bank withdraw the suit
against me and on Affidavit said there has been a compromise between me
and the ICICI bank. They all make false statement and nothing happens
to the bank.

Too Bad... Hopefully someone should change the system... Bankers are
not supposed to do all this.
