The plight of Ms. Mookey, being forced out of the flat she had taken
on rent, is being faced by scores of innocent people across the
country. In the case of Ms. Mookey one can take respite behind the
fact that she is financially well off to take another flat on rent, as
well give the Bank a run for its money with big appetite for legal
redressal, but, a majority of tenants and innocent purchasers,
would have taken hefty loans, possibly again from the same Bankers, to
make the deposit to owners. What remedy is there for them in such
circumstances?
