DRTs can sell industrial units either as "junk" or as "on-going
concern". In the former case, the purchaser can do whatever he wants
with the unit. In the latter case the auction purchaser has to revive
and run the unit. Which of the two options is better? Can the DRTs
explore such an option? Where BIFR has failed can DRT succeed? Will
this option appeal to the secured creditors?

See there should not be any room that ends the scope of negotiation or
a further try.

But two aspects that we have to always keep in mind. one, the track
record of functioning of DRTs & its members & concerned lawyers to
handle the financial viability aspects of unit as to its 'going'nes.
Because, most of the practitioners at DRTs are the experts(?) of law
but not in micro finance. so, in its ordinary prudence, this moot of
reviving the 'on-going concern' or whatever is needed by any authority.
But when it comes to arena of DRTs, I strongly raise serious doubts in
its ability, effectiveness & efficiency, besides its laclustre
attitude.

Secondly, reasonableness of surviving an already dead unit is
pointless. atleast let some money be recovered before actually the hope
is diminished by taking this course.

thanking you.
