Dear Friends,
Hope this mail finds you well. As you may know "Amra Kojon" is preparing to celebrate its 5th anniversary along with the Bengali New Year 1415, at MIT's Kresge Auditorium on Saturday, May 24th 2008, from 3:00pm to 9:00pm, hosted by Bangladesh Students' Association of MIT (MIT-BSA).
Exhibition: 3:00pm-5:45pm
Musical event: 6:00-9:00pm
This year our show "Rupali Aloye Dhushor Otit" ("Nostalgic Tunes from the Silver Screen") is designed to pay tribute to the Bengali movie classics that our previous generations and we grew up cherishing. Following the footsteps of our first event back in 2003, we will also be incorporating a children's segment this year. Why don't we present to our next generation, the memories that we treasured, by introducing them to songs like "Amader deshta shopno puri", "Ekdin chuti hobe", Emon moja hoy na", "chor chor chor dhorbo amra mile shobai", "Baba bole gelo", "Ko e kola khaw e khai", and have them be a part of the Amra Kojon children's segment! This will allow the children to have the opportunity to walk down memory lane along with their families while you get to revisit your childhood and fond memories once again.
Listen to our Children segment from 2003 show! Enjoy!!!
