Dear friends,
Last week my relative Mr. Hasan the erstwhile ambassador of Bangladesh to France passed away because of massive blood hemorrhage in his brain. He was around 47 years old. Before his dearth he donated his organs to save lives. After his death his wife Mary (my niece) has agreed to donate his organs to seven people.  He and his wife did a great humanitarian act of saving lives. When I share this news to my friends and family I face questions about the permissibility of such acts in Islam.
My answer is yes under certain conditions. I have attached two flyers (in Bengali and English) where the reasons for permissibility and the conditions are laid out.

Please read these flyers, share with others, and consider discussing such great acts with your spouse.
