It is our great pleasure to inform you that Amra Kojon is showcasing Rupali Aloye Dhushor Otit (Nostalgic Tunes from the Silver Screen) on Saturday, May 24th, 2008 at MIT's Kresge Auditorium to celebrate Bangla Noboborsho 1415 along with the 5th anniversary of Amra Kojon. Our script is designed to pay tribute to the Bengali movie classics that our parents/grand parents grew up cherishing.
MIT-BSA (Bangladeshi Students' Association at MIT) is the official host of the event, while Red Roof Inn is the accommodation provider, OSD Display is our display provider and ATN Bangla is the media partner.

Tickets are on sale and will be available at the upcoming event of BANE. Tickets are also available at Foodland (2234 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge) and Wellfoods (380 Somerville Avenue, Somerville) stores. Tickets are now priced at $10/ticket and the price will be increased to $15/ticket from April 1st. We strongly urge you to spread the word and buy your tickets before the price goes up or the show is sold out like all our previous shows! An event of this magnitude would not be possible without your support. We are also actively seeking sponsors (individual or corporate) for this event.
You will be happy to know that rehearsals for this event have been going on since February on every weekend (Sat or Sun) at the Students Center at MIT. Please contact us ASAP if you or anyone you know would like to join us as a performer or volunteer, or just come over to the venue to enjoy the rehearsal and to have a nice time. There is a children segment in our show, please ask your children to join us.
