Bike paint job

Any recommendations for getting bicycle(s) painted? Need it painted in
purple :-)

yup you will have to use DUPONT paint cause purple is rare and white or gray base coat so that the paint will stay nice with good finish call me for more detail bored to type just coming back from nandi

Who can do this dupont paint for me? I need to scrape all the paint
off of my Jet and paint it purple. Wouldn't mind calling you but I
can't find your phone number anywhere.

Okay. So the story so far is that we want to paint a few bicycles
purple and put some Yahoo! custom decals on and get some attention.
Hopefully that will get my stock options back in black. :)

or just pick up a paint gun from SP road .. they are not very expensive.

You can get some metallic paint - you can mix and match and have a custom color. And then lacquer the whole thing.
Lots of work, but lots of fun :)

Well thats really a great idea even now i am also thinking to paint
the entire bike into 1 color....
Even the rim of the cycle ....

yeah .. its good fun :)

at the same time make sure you take care to protect exposed threads ! I made a mistake and the bottom bracket threads were messed up with lacquer and we had a tough time later

The trick is to get someone who has already done this before to help out. I could do this, but am not going to be around for a bit. Nilesh, do you want to have a session at BOTS ? Folks can get their frames and paint em :) Should be loads of fun !!

more if trials work out.

would like to do up your bikes will need some help and lots of time was busy
as i am reaching today on the computer returning from Coorg jungle with samim we had our 4x4 event their it was fun, did little mountain biking also
