Apologies for massive delay in this update

Pedalshaale 2
Vijayanagar sessions
24th January 2026.
10.45 AM -12.45 PM

Yet another pleasant day with cloud cover. The track we have been using was dug up for drainage work so we decided to use the entrance and the slope as well as take the advanced students to the road outside..

HM sir's coordination team, headed by Chand was mobilised to guard the outer end of the road. We also used the undug portion of the track for hesitating students

BBS Trainers: 2
Teachers: 8
DULT : Tejatha ma'am
Students : 15 +10

Half pedalling :

Ali demonstrated half pedalling again to both the batches. Most have acquired the skill but quite a few are pushing with left foot, rather than half pedalling with the right pedal and not tilting enough to the left.

 *Naga Prakash's* report :

*24Jan Vijayanagar report*
 *1st batch:*
Most of the students had the problem with braking. Instead of using brakes, they were trying to stop with legs. Tried to correct few.
Shivani - able to pedal. Braking problem

 *2nd batch*
Sanjana - Helped to do half pedaling, right leg is not doing the job for half pedal, instead she is pushing by left leg only.
Kruthika - Gave her initial support for standing scooting. Later she picked up with pedaling as well. Star of the day.

 *Ali's* report:

More of my time was spent in supervision and correcting the
mistakes rather than actual teaching today.

Taking students to the road was a part success, some did it very well, however due to presence of the dialysis centre and the civil work going on in the park lot of people and traffic was there. Some students moved back to safety of the track, whatever was usable.

The need of maintenance and small cycles were felt again. Some students like Riya is just not able to overcome this major handicap of inappropriate sized cycles.

Naga Prakash is going to supervise next session, Tentative closure of the pilot project being 14th February.
