Hello Experts,

I would like to purchase a bicycle for city ride mostly.
The obvious choice would be Neo bike but I have not heard good things it in terms of build quality.

Please suggest.

If I were you I wouldn't even think about hercules. Get a RockRider 5.0 ( not a 5.1 ). I doubt you would need that fancy looking suspension ( read bad suspension ) for city rides.

Hi Shashi

how come u missed the not so good things on 5.1 ?

Suspensions of 5.1 hardly make an impact and might not be a deal breaker to spend 3 to 4 k more than 5.0.

Hi Rahul,

I visited Decathlon couple of days ago and got to know that apart from the suspension and alloy frame, overall build quality is better in 5.1. My deciding factor wasn't entirely the suspension and considering roads in Billekahalli, I thought suspension might be useful.

Now it looks like that the suspension in 5.1 is not very effective.

yup..

minor bumps are fine...it works good.

M currently using 5.1 since last December and M really enjoying the ride. Apart from the frame, suspension and the great look... everything else is similar to 5.0. (someone correct me if I have missed any details here)

Again depends how long you want to stick with your bike :)
