HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM danceScape!

Our passion is dance and the creative arts learning experience. 2008
was the year when the national media like CBC Television started to
discover danceScape and our unique mission to inspire, empower, and
connect people through the dance experience. Your continuing support
of our programs, as well as our “Holiday Practice Party” resulted in
record attendance! Special thanks to everyone who participated in the
“Student Dance Exhibition”.

danceScape OPEN HOUSES THIS MONDAY AND THURSDAY

Join us this Thursday, January 15th from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. for light
refreshments and a dance lesson. RSVP by calling 905 633-8808 or E-

Our downtown Burlington dance workshops (2077 Pine Street, at Pearl)
start the week of January 19th, and our Waterdown workshops
(Flamborough Family YMCA) start the week of January 25th. See your
loved one beam with anticipation about the experience of learning to
dance.

Valentines’ Gift Certificates are available for any of our 10-week
group workshops: danceTONE (Trim & Tone to Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa, &
other dance steps, for women only), For Absolute Beginners Ballroom
Dancing (Adult or Youth/Teen programs available), For Absolute
Beginners Club Salsa/Swing, and Level 1 advanced programs. Gift
Certificates are also available for private lessons for social dance
and/or wedding dance preparation.

danceScape TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM

Take the first step towards a fun and rewarding career in the Dance
Entertainment and Learning industry with danceScape. Television shows
like “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Dancing With the Stars” have
created a huge interest in people wanting to learning Ballroom and
Latin Dancing – from children and teens to adults and seniors.

dancescape’s Teacher Training program consists of two intensive
training weekends, the first occurring February 27th to March 1st, and
second from April 3rd to 5th. Top graduates receive first priority to
be considered for potential internship, teaching, and/or other career
or business development opportunities.

“FOR SINGLES ONLY” DANCE LEARNING & NETWORKING VALENTINE’S PARTY

Join danceScape at our new “For Singles Only“ Dance Lesson &
Networking Party on Tuesday, February 10th from 8:30 to 10:00 p.m. at
Paradiso Restaurant in downtown Burlington (located a few doors down
from danceScape). The evening will include a fun “Dance Learning”
segment as well as opportunities to mix and mingle. Come and meet
other singles who share a similar interest in learning to dance!

organize a “danceScape Dance Cruise”. If you like to dance, it is so
much more fun to vacation with other dance enthusiasts on a cruise and/
