Hey Everyone,

FIrst off, congratulations to Teni for dominating at the Eastern
Balboa Championships this past weekend. Teni placed in all three
competitions she entered including: Open Jack and Jill (1st place),
Open Classic (3rd place with Marty Klempner), and the Intergalactic
Balboa Championships (1st place with Bobby White).

Classes this week
Thursday - BalAustin classes (8:00) - Jennifer and I will be teaching
a pure bal class. We have a lot of cool stuff planned to be sure to
be there.
Thursday - Austin Swing Syndicate Intro to Bal (8:15) - Matt and Laura
will be teaching. Free if you pay to get into the dance. This is a
great opportunity to get your friends to learn the basics of bal.


Dancing this week
Thursday - Fast Room at the Fed (9:30 - 10:30) - Matt Jones and
Lindsay Chronister will be DJing.
Saturday - San Marcos Hanger Dance - The music is usually a little
slow for bal. For more info check: http://hangardance.com/calendar.shtml
Saturday - Continental Graffiti at Lamberts (7:30 - 9:30) - If you are
not going to the hanger dance, this is a good option. If you arrive
before 7, bar food is 1/2 off for happy hour.
