Need a teammate to review our 43 sites and help the site managers wrangle their spending and operations to meet their budget targets.
Director - COST CONTROL ($150k-$180k)
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for control and monitor site cost plans including verifying and checking of invoices, site management ordering within guidelines, supplier compliance, and vendor management to ensure that all site costs are captured and properly recorded within budget parameters.
• Provide planning and cost controlling support for all sites which includes variation reporting, monitoring, and budget amendments or noncompliance remediation.
• Standardize and monitor site procurement activity.
• Perform technical and commercial review of subcontractor’s quotations for the preparation of Service agreements.
• Coordinate and work with the operations management team to resolve site issues to ensure the budgeted profits are met.
• Attend meetings and discussions with the operations team and vendors as required to standardize the process.
• Perform site costing related reporting to the team and management’s review monthly to ensure that expenditures are kept within the planned budget.
• Provide cost control and planning advice to the operations and finance team as and when required.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
• Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• Min 2 years relevant experience in budgeting and cost controls.
• Technically strong in cost planning, scheduling, and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independent worker who can work well with minimal supervision.
• Work Location: Lake Forest, CA; willing to travel up to 50%
