Hi Folks,

Remember that talk you wanted to come to in March, but it was
cancelled?  It's back on!

Details below!  Hope to see you here!

Beacon Hill Friends House presents...
Where do you find God?
the Weed Memorial Lecture
Trayce Peterson
Rescheduled!
7:30 PM, Saturday, June 6,2009

Where do you find God?  Is there a sacred or holy place that nurtures
your spirituality?  Who are the people and where are the spaces where
you feel most whole?  Sometimes we don’t feel safe; is there a place
you turn to for refuge?  Trayce Peterson will share stories and
reflect  on the importance of sanctuary and sacred places within
community.

A member of Western Yearly Meeting in Indiana, Trayce Peterson has
spoken and led programs for a variety of Friends: leading an
"Inquirers Weekend" for Philadelphia Yearly Meeting; delivering Bible
Half Hours at yearly meeting here in New England. and giving the Carey
Lecture at Baltimore Yearly Meeting, among others.  She is a member of
the board of AFSC. Trayce has contributed to Friends Journal and
collaborated on  Friendly Consensus: Speak, Listen, Unite  an
innovative approach to teaching youth basic consensus and
decision-making skills. She is Director of Multicultural Affairs at
Earlham College.
