Where do you find God? Is there a sacred or holy place that nurtures
your spirituality? Who are the people and where are the spaces where
you feel most whole? Sometimes we don’t feel safe; is there a place
you turn to for refuge? Trayce Peterson will share stories and
reflect on the importance of sanctuary and sacred places within
community.
A member of Western Yearly Meeting in Indiana, Trayce Peterson has
spoken and led programs for a variety of Friends: leading an
"Inquirers Weekend" for Philadelphia Yearly Meeting; delivering Bible
Half Hours at yearly meeting here in New England. and giving the Carey
Lecture at Baltimore Yearly Meeting, among others. She is a member of
the board of AFSC. Trayce has contributed to Friends Journal and
collaborated on Friendly Consensus: Speak, Listen, Unite an
innovative approach to teaching youth basic consensus and
decision-making skills. She is Director of Multicultural Affairs at
Earlham College.
