Dear Esteemed BUGI Interns,

'Tis the season for final projects to wrap up. It is paramount that you turn in your completed activity log and signed by you and your supervisor one page reflection  on either

Tuesday evening 7-10PM
Wednesday afternoon, 1-4PM

at the International House Cafe on Bancroft and Piedmont.

Make sure it has your full name and SID number.

For the reflection: Please answer the questions that were sent out in the previous email.  (favorite parts about BUGI, least favorite aspects of your experience... how you think the program/system could be improved)
We're interested in making the program more cohesive and engaging for future BUGInterns and want your honest and well-thought-out feedback to help us!

You're all invited on Wednesday evening to the Berkeley Community Gardening Collaborative meeting at Bebo Turmon's house. We (Anders and Amy) will be attending. It's a potluck, so we'll be making a dish to bring with us. We'd love to see more involvement of UC Berkeley gardeners in the Berkeley gardening community.

If you need more hours, come to the meeting (you will probably need a bike)! You can work at any community gardening project this week, and you can get one hour for posting on the blog:  http://bugi2010.wordpress.com/  and if you need help, webmaster Sofi Pechner can assist you in posting items, including, reflections, recipes, information, ideas, proposals, and drawings.  Sofi's email address is: spec...@gmail.com .

You can include hours you spent attending meetings or events for organizations like the Berkeley Student Food Collective, Ferment Change, etc. Or if you went to a talk or other event to educate yourself about current food production issues, food insecurity, etc. these are also acceptable hour logs.

You can also get (up to 3) hours by making and distributing fliers to advertise for BUGI spring 2010 or sending emails to relevant listserves about this internship opportunity.

If you still need more hours, then you should talk with us at the cafe to figure out how you can complete the coursework during finals week! Please do not just lie and fudge your hours if you don't have enough. We're providing you far more than enough slack here.

Thanks,
Anders and Amy

Hello Amy and/or Anders,

Can you tell me the date of my last logged hours in the first log book?

Thanks!

Natalie
