Hey everyone,

I've sent out several emails about what's due this week, so I hope you all have a pretty good idea of what to do. Just to reiterate:

Please have a supervisor sign your time sheet. We did not send out a template.  We require basic information that should be easily compiled:
DATE, LENGTH OF TIME, WHAT YOU DID... feel free to include tidbits about what you really enjoyed or didn't enjoy, but this kind of personal response is not necessary if you don't feel like sharing!  It would also be cool if you could TOTAL your HOURS.

We don't want anything too complicated.  We want to know that you've been doing what you said you'd do, keeping up with your hours.  We are interested to hear what kind of work you've been doing, what you're most excited about, etc.  We hope that you've found your time spent with these community members in these wonderful community spaces both rewarding and engaging.  Please let us know if you're not feeling rewarded and engaged, we will help you find a way to make your internship more enjoyable and awesome.

Kudos to Ryan for (not only being the first to turn in his time sheet, but also) spicing up his descriptions, making our jobs easier by providing us with entertaining reading material! Thank you, Ryan!

ABOUT THE DINNER:  We could not find an appropriate facility for our dinner for this Wednesday, so the dinner will be postponed until next week.  We will let you know time/date ASAP! Sorry for the confusion, guys.

Also, we'd like to make this a potluck of sorts.  We encourage you (if possible) to harvest something from your gardens and put together a dish to make.. or just bring supplies over so we can cook together!  Maybe all or a few of the Spiral Gardens interns could pool together resources and throw together a salad or casserole or something!  All of you, feel free to coordinate with other interns from other gardens if you're interested in cooking.  We want everyone to contribute a little something, so if you really can't bring anything for us to munch on, you should bring $3-5 to help out for food supply costs.

Contact Amy (240.344.8602) with any questions, concerns, or ideas!

Hope to see you guys soon.

Hello Amy and Anders,

Three questions:

1) Where can I turn in my log book?

2) Is the dinner next Wednesday? Are you still interested in having the
dinner at my house? (I cant do Wednesday...sorry!)

3) Is it possible to intern at a different garden? My coordinator is not
very organized and its hard to get hours in.

Thanks,

Natalie
