My best investment idea was offered by WEB; his position in USG @ $15
was called a "mistake". But it turned out not to be a bad call @ $5 per
stub. My position in Berkshire Hathaway was established in 1999-2000.

Hi, artofgolf:

Welcome to our group!

Are you the same gentleman who discussed USG with me at zenway egroup years ago:

I remember we discussed the bankcruptcy value of USG around 2002. I
doubled up after our discussion. But I sold out too soon around $30.
Are you still holding on to USG?

I would buy BRK b/c (a) cash hoard, (b)current price relative to IV and
book is attractive, (c) get WB for $100K annually to keep the tigers on
the chairs internally and (d) there is little else out there that is
safe, cheap and secure.

Yes, I'm the same guy. I was really surprised that more value investors
were not buying USG at those really cheap levels. I still have a small
position.

All the best,
Art
