How to install FlashGUI v2.2.5 into QM

Would someone please post the steps necessary to install FlashGUI into
QM.
Or please point me to an existing document that tells how.

Unfortunately, setup procedures was not converted from D3.

Installation steps:

1 Create files with type 19 (in any account)
FG.BP
FG.BP.EXAMPLE
FG.CF.SE
FG.DOC
FG.RBIN
FG.TEMPLATES
FG.TESTRUN

2 Copy items(files) from zip archive FlashGUI_QM.zip

3 Type at TCL
BASIC FG.BP *
CATALOG FG.BP *
BASIC FG.EXAMPLE *
CATALOG FG.EXAMPLE *


FG.BP.EXAMPLE contains examples

Thank you for quickly responding.

I am running QM Version 2.6-9 under Windows VISTA ULTIMATE.

Here is what I did:

1. I created an account in qm called 'FLASHGUI'.
2. I logged to FLASHGUI and created all of the files you listed(7
files).
3. I compiled & cataloged as you instructed.
4. Then at TCL I typed in the following command - 'SE FP.BP SE'
I wanted to start the SE editor and list the SE source code.

5. What I got was the following at the TCL prompt:

PDeleteAllDialogs
.'1,-1;STYLE=WS_THICKFRAME|WS_CLIPSIBLINGS|WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW|
DS_SETFONT|WS_EX_APPWINDOW|DS_NOMODAL
|DS_CENTER|;RECT=5,5,1026,532


6. If I push the ENTER key with the above info on the screen then I
get a long list of 'Basic'
source code at the TCL prompt. After several more pushes of
the enter key the screen(QM) freezes.

Is there something else that has to be installed?
Does FlashGUI work with Windows VISTA?
What do you suggest?

Gordon,

I have found some beta bugs in SE. SE without parameters should work
with some restrictions (Compile, Run, Fields Editor now not works). I
have asked SE author about such problem. It will be fixed soon (I
think tonight). FlashGUI basic functions works fine.

1 Check BRIZ working folder. Please, download AP.ZIP and latest
version of BRIZ (or download FlashGUI for D3)
2 Check delimiters by "Sessions setup" / "Connection setup" / "Set AM/
VM Delimiters" / "As OpenQM"
3 BRIZ uses chars in range 0-255. Please check server settings (some
servers can locks chars in range 128-255)

Do I have to install BRIZ?

Where do I install Briz?

I have qm installed at D:\QMSYS.

How do I setup FlashGUI so that it can work in my QM?

This is Windows VISTA - BRIZ.CHM does not seem to work.

I am still lost and I want to try FlashGUI.

What do I do now?
