Those looking to get more involved in the BPMH program may consider running for a position on the 2013-2014 Buddhism & Psychology Student Union (BPSU) executive team. Elections will take place on April 2nd at 6 PM in Wilson Hall, Room 2002. To be elected to the Executive Committee, a student must be a full-time Arts and Science student, or an ASSU fee paying member, and be either taking a course offered by the Program or enrolled in the Program.
The available positions are:
President
Vice President of Internal Affairs
Vice President of External Affairs
Treasurer
Social Coordinators (2)
Communications Coordinator
Conference Coordinators (2)
Editor in Chief of the Journal
Editor in Chief of the Newsletter
Volunteer Coordinator
Journal Board Committee (5)
Anyone wishing to run or vote should come to the elections. Those interested in running should prepare a few words explaining why they are interested in their position and why they would make for a good candidate. In the past, anyone interested in joining has been able to secure a position. So even if you're not 100% sure in what capacity you would like to get involved, come out anyway and I'm sure we will find a place for you. For more detailed descriptions of the positions, please see the attached document.
