Hello all,

Can anybody point me a list of BPMN modeling software? I just downloaded the Eclipse Intalio distribuition at http://www.intalio.com/products/eclipse-ganymede-download/, and would like to try other softwares.

Thanks in advance,

Hi Mauricio, I'm the maintainer of the BPMN modeler. I hope you enjoyed your ride with it. If you have feedback, please consider sending it to the BPMN modeler newsgroup.

Thanks,

Antoine

Hello,

I don't have the entire list - Lots of companies provide it.  I am the CEO of eClarus Software, which develops BPMN business process modeler that enable users to model, simulate, document and generate ready-to-deploy BPEL code.

Mauricio,  Would love to have you try out our bpmn modeler.  You can download and request trial key from our web site http://www.eclarus.com.  You can learn from our reviewer guide

I cannot point to a list but I have come across two other freely available BPMN tools. I've had a look at the BizAgi Process Modeler (http://www.bizagi.com/eng/products/ba-modeler/modeler.html) and it works well. You might also choose to look at TIBCO Business Studio (http://www.tibco.com/devnet/business_studio/default.jsp).

Last time I looked, the BizAgi download was about 25 MB while the TIBCO download was 300+ MB.

I also use the BPMN features in System Architect when I want the benefits of an integrated repository based EA tool.

Hello people,

Thank you all for the answers. I am using Intalio Designer (I think it's the same BPMN plugin of eclipse). My main constraint is that I don't use microsoft windows anywhere. I've been a debian gnu/linux user for years and really wouldn't like to use windows only to model processes. Lucky me that I found a tool that runs on linux, usually these kind of tools (business, project management, etc.) are made only for windows.

Thanks again.

Mauricio
