Dear All,
I am happy that I could meet some of you yesterday, and discuss your
problems related to the workshop as well as WikiEducator. Mostly, the
access to Internet is a problem and I hope this will get reduced in
coming days. As for the bnagla version of WikiEd, it is not possible
at this stage. If sufficinent interest is there to sustain the system,
then this can be done.
At CAMPE, I saw that the computers were not displaying the editing
toolbar even after log in. This is probably due to not having the
browser javascript enabled. So, please enable the javascript of your
browser. If you are not able to do this due to some reasons, download
the lastest version of Fairfox and use that. Tapon'Da I am glad that
after our discussion, you have started thinking of using email/egroup
for providing training to your clientele group. Additionally you can
think of using WikiEd for providing materials support.
I am sure all of you will actively use the WikiEd facility in the
coming days. Also, I would like to emphasize here that the workshop/
project is anot only about how to develop quality learning materials,
it is also about developing wikiskills. Us eof WikiEd will help us to
monitor your progress and provide additional support. So, please use
it duing and after the workshop. Do ask me any question through the
group as well as my personal email.
Let' s take this opportunity to learn something new and also create
something for our institutions. Thus, it is important to integrate the
activities of this project/workshop into your work. Please find a way
to do that, and enjoy the blended learning (online + Face to Face).
with regards,
Sanjaya Mishra
